I'm an ex-Software Engineer at J.P. Morgan in NYC, where I worked on an ultra-low latency electronic trading platform for the Equities desk for 1.5 years. More recently, I was working in Cape Town, South Africa for half a year, where I worked on a research study with a company called GoMetro to use user movement data to assess water access points in Nigeria.

  • Developed product roadmaps, technical architecture, and business requirements for a mobile platform that utilizes USSD survey responses and location data from 1000 testers to analyze water point effectiveness in Nigeria.
  • Generated recommendation on third-party movement tracking providers by conducting a comparative analysis utilizing Python and Unix to post-process and visualize API trip data in KML format.
  • Created the GoMetro API in Flask and PostgreSQL with usage documentation to process location coordinates and generate USSD survey questions based on response history.

Software Engineer

  • Implemented multiple MiFID regulatory risk checks and quantitative limit checks in C++ for clients leveraging extensive reference data and market positions.
  • Developed test drivers that measure order execution latency and provide statistical analysis on the results using Python. Used these findings to find bottlenecks and optimize execution speed of C++ codebase.
  • Managed full release cycles and provided production support during North American trading hours for client connectivity and data integrity issues using Python, C++, and Bash.
